An exceptional nursery with a large outdoor play area for children aged 3 months to 5 years in Macclesfield, Cheshire.
We feel we have a lot to provide and a different approach to childcare in the Macclesfield area. Our setting is relaxed, welcoming and friendly and we strive to be as flexible as possible.
Here is some of what we offer:
No admin charge for swapping sessions - if we have the availability we’re happy to swap your day. Read more about our sessions.
10% discount for NHS and AstraZeneca employees.
Sibling, holiday and full time place discounts.
We offer funded sessions for 2, 3 and 4 year olds. Read more information about our prices, opening times and services.
We take our role in feeding your children very seriously. We have an on-site kitchen and a full time chef, Tony, who is in charge of preparing nutritious, balanced and appetising meals for all the children in our care.
Tony has lots of experience in preparing meals for children with serious allergies and different dietary needs/preferences and works hard to reduce the amount of sugar used throughout the whole menu. Our menu is updated regularly and is always child-friendly whilst offering all the nutrients your little ones need to go about their busy little days!
Our meat is locally sourced from a butcher in Congleton and our fruit and vegetbales are delivered from a reputable greengrocer throughout the week to ensure their freshness.
At Macclesfield Day Nursery we use the online journal, Tapestry. This allows you to follow your Child’s progress online or using the App. You can also comment on observations or add in your own.
Our large garden and all weather learning area is used every day allowing fresh air, exercise and exploration.
Forest school provided by Broadleaf Forest Adventures.
Although our nursery provides a wealth of experiences, we love to take the children out into the local area - and sometimes further afield - to build on their learning.
We have visited local care homes where we have performed songs, we often go to West Park and love our visits to the library in town. If we’ve planned a baking/cooking activity, we can often be seen in Sainsbury’s buying all the ingredients we need. We’ve even caught the bus to Bollington and walked up to see White Nancy!
We try our very best to organise a summer trip for the school leavers and a trip to the pantomime at Christmas for our pre schoolers.
